![]() ![]() What I like about this story is that the relationship actually got established pretty early on it's not a constant tug of will-they-won't-they. Such a fun, light, and enjoyable read.Īs soft and lovely as the first volume. I'm really glad I decided to pick up this series. Kusakabe is still hilarious and sweet and Sajou is still cute and adorable as always. The slowburn is still there, standing firm and strong ((-mmmh yesh loved it)). ![]() Heart-to-heart conversation really is the best problem solver. ![]() I love the way they solve their problems by talking. And they continue to develop and grow to be a better person. It becomes more complex talking about trust, mutual understanding, families, graduating, how they sorting out their future, and further relationship as they were moving onward. I really love how the plot is simple yet realistic. I think I'm starting to feel attached to those overly long neck and limbs and Kusakabe's abnormal hair-style LMAO. ![]() This is the best thing that happened to me this weekend LOL.Īfter reading this, I noticed that I was already used to Nakamura- sensei's artstyle. Then yesterday, I found out that this book had a sequel, and not just one sequel, but three or so! I was so over the moon. So, I just read Classmates a few days ago, hoping that it was a series and not finished in one volume only ((yes it's finished in one volume)). ![]()

In No Great Hurry: 13 Lessons in Life with Saul Leiter. We watch the now-old man dig through rooms full of work few people have ever seen, reminiscing about the (recently deceased) love of his life and delivering the occasional bit of wisdom like, “the important thing in life is not what you get, but what you throw out.” He sometimes hesitates mid-utterance, as if unsure how seriously he wants to take this whole documentary thing: Speaking of nudes he shot of one woman, he says he “did some pictures of her that are slightly…they’re slightly…” before simply moving on to another photo. I believe Hatchard is in no great hurry for the second edition and, therefore, I am naturally anxious to send it out in as improved a state as I can. (Cue great shots of art-world types ranging from John Cage to Andy Warhol.) But here and in discussing his boyhood (Mom bought him his first camera Dad was an overserious Talmudic scholar), the recollections are more piecemeal than comprehensive. ![]() “A window covered with raindrops interests me more than a photograph of a famous person,” Leiter declares, recalling a New York City youth that found him rubbing elbows with the legends of Abstract Expressionism. ![]() ![]() ![]() I’d seen his work on “The Impossible.” But in talking with him, I felt he had a wonderful energy and was such a clever, soulful person. When I first met Tom he had just been cast as Spider-Man, but I hadn’t seen him as Spider-Man. What made you think of Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson for this project? They seem to have been cast against type. The towns are characters in the film, as are the roads, which serve as arteries and byways for bad things to travel. There’s a map that starts the film, and we refer to it as like the map of Middle Earth in “Lord of the Rings,” except in our film there are no fairies and no hobbits. How important was it to give viewers a sense of the geography? Very important. ![]() The film unfolds in rural Ohio and West Virginia and the backroads between. ![]() ![]() In The Midnight Library, Matt Haig’s enchanting new novel, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision. ![]() While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. I loved how the story ended with ( spoiler) Nora playing chess with Mrs. I was surprised by each journey and how there’s always something off with the different paths she could have chosen. I really enjoyed all the different realities that Nora visited. ![]() And who’s to say that the choice would have been better? So interesting. And it really allowed the author to pinpoint about how living in the past and full of regrets, is no way to live in your present. But this concept of The Midnight Library is so unique and creative. It’s definitely hard to read at times-especially in the beginning when Nora tries to take her own life. ![]() ![]() Seuss book, are brought to life Some presents contain.
